I Wish I Could …: andreamally: I Wish I Could …: @Noracrazyyetsane: Andrea Mally woke…
Andrea Mally woke up filled with excitement. She couldn’t believe that the day had finally come. In three hours, she would…
Andrea looked all around her, mesmerized by anything and everything. She was finally going to be at Hogwarts. She was a witch. Jake rolled his eyes as Mrs. Mally scolded him. “You were a first year once too!” Just then, Mr. Mally walked up and gave Andrea a huge hug. “Sorry I’m late. There was something going on at the Ministry but I wouldn’t let that stop me from seeing off my little girl!” Jake rolled his eyes again. Andrea saw the Hogwarts Express and her eyes immediately lit up. She couldn’t believe that she would get to ride it all the way to the castle. Her parents brought her to where platform 9 3/4 was. She asked them how she was supposed to get there, because there was nothing there. “You have to run into it.” Jake explained. “I’m not trusting you. Last time you told me that I had a minor concussion from running into the living room wall! You go first!” Andrea was skeptical. Jake shrugged and walked to the other side with ease, followed by the rest of them.
Nora and her parents finally made it to where the platform was supposed to be, but saw no sign for it. “Perhaps we should ask someone dear?” Nora’s mother asked her father. No sooner did she ask the question, Nora saw a family disappear through a brick pillar in the middle of the station. “Look! I saw them disappear, that family over there!” Nora tugged on her mother’s shirt and pointed. “You what?” she turned and gave Nora her full attention. “There was a family that disappeared through that wall over there. They just ran at it and then they were…gone,” Nora shrugged her shoulder. Her father looked at the ticket and then at the platform numbers and after a bit of back and forth with his wife, they all decided that that was what they were supposed to do. First Nora’s father went through with Nora’s trolley and instead of hitting the wall like expected, he vanished through it. Nora’s mother took a hold of her daughter’s hand they both did the same thing and ended up in a different train station. A loud train whistle blew and they both jumped. “Look!” Mr. Caine greeted the two and pointed to the large train with the gold letters Hogwarts Express across it.

I Wish I Could …: andreamally: I Wish I Could …: @Noracrazyyetsane: Andrea Mally woke…
Andrea Mally woke up filled with excitement. She couldn’t believe that the day had finally come. In three hours, she would finally be at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Andrea had waited her whole life for this, and now…
Andrea shoved her brother towards the fireplace when he tried to block her. “I’m not letting my first year be ruined because of you!” Mrs. Mally rolled her eyes. “Looks like we’re going to have four Slytherins in this house from now on.” Andrea jumped up and down with excitement. “Oh, mum, do you really think I’ll be in Slytherin?” Her older brother, Jake, nodded. “Either that or you’ll be in the house of annoying.” Mrs. Mally ushered them both into the fireplace where she took a handful of Floo Powder. With a flash, the three of them arrived at King’s Cross station.
Nora was practically bouncing with excitement as her parent’s car pulled into King’s Cross train station. “Lemme out! Lemme out!” he cried from the backseat. Mr. Caine only shook his head and laughed at his daughter’s excitement. “Just calm yourself now Nora,” her mother told her as she pulled Nora’s door open. Nora scrambled out of the car so quickly that she fell and scrapped her knee on the sidewalk. “See, that’s why you need to take your time, right?” her father gave her a stern look. Nora was always falling down and hurting herself, but she never cared. She rubbed the scrape on her knee and followed her parents as they pushed her school things toward platform 9 3/4. “Do you really think there’s such a thing? Platform 9 3/4?” Mr. Caine asked his wife as he was looking at Nora’s train ticket. “There has to be!” Nora chimed in, “or else they wouldn’t have put it on the ticket.” Nora always believed anything was possible.
Andrea Mally woke up filled with excitement. She couldn’t believe that the day had finally come. In three hours, she would finally be at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Andrea had waited her whole life for this, and now the moment was finally hers. It was almost…
Andrea pulled her acceptance letter out of her pocket and waved it around in her older brother’s face. “See! I told you I was a witch! You tried telling me that I was going to turn out a squib when I was younger!” Her mother quickly snatched up the letter and glared at them both. “You’re both Purebloods, not be quiet and eat your breakfast.” Andrea sneakily stuck her tongue out as soon as her mother turned around. She quickly ate breakfast and couldn’t stop talking about how excited she was.
“Well, have you got all your things?” Mrs. Caine turned to look at her daughter. “Yep, I think so!” Nora replied with a bright smile. She was so excited, she would be surprised if her hair wasn’t standing on end. Nora was an only child who’s parents were both muggles. Mr. and Mrs. Caine were also very excited that their daughter was chosen to go to school at Hogwarts. Her father loaded up the family car with Nora’s trunk and her cat and Nora jumped into the backseat and buckled herself in. “I’m readdyy!” she called out the window to her parents who were comparing the length of their grass to that of their neighbor’s.
Andrea Mally woke up filled with excitement. She couldn’t believe that the day had finally come. In three hours, she would finally be at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Andrea had waited her whole life for this, and now the moment was finally hers. It was almost impossible for her to contain her excitement as she dragged her drunk downstairs and smiled at her mother.
Nora woke bright and early. She had slept very little due to the excitement she felt about her first day at Hogwarts. She couldn’t believe it when she had gotten her acceptance letter informing her that she was an actual witch. Nora had always known something was different about her and now she knew why. The last week, Nora had spent getting ready for her journey to the wizarding school, “do you think I’ll make any friends?” she asked her mother, her wide eyes full of questions. “Without a doubt,” her mother replied and kissed her on the nose. Her mother always knew the right thing to say.
It was, Loki thought, as though the hammer were made for him. A runt, like him. Flawed, like him. Misunderstood….like him. But magnificant, no question.
